The Founder’s Story

Iguru Therapies was founded by Ashaba Mercy, a Speech-Language Pathologist and passionate entrepreneur with over six years of experience in healthcare. Inspired by her work with post-stroke patients and individuals with communication disorders, Ashaba envisioned a platform where therapy services could be accessible and impactful for all.

The dream behind Iguru Therapies was born from a personal and professional journey. After seeing her grandmother’s challenges following a stroke and working with countless clients who struggled to access quality rehabilitation services, Ashaba knew change was necessary. This deeply personal connection fueled her commitment to building a practice that blends professional expertise with empathy and innovation.

Ashaba’s dream is to see a Uganda where therapy services are not a luxury but a standard part of healthcare. Iguru Therapies represents her dedication to creating lasting change and empowering communities with the tools to rebuild lives.
